We don’t believe in not covering something that rightfully should be, so we offer occurrence form coverage. This means that, even if your policy is long-expired, you’re covered. If a claim is made for an event that occurred while your policy was in effect, you are covered. It’s just one small way we make sure we’ve got your back.

• One-year policy, the current rate for beauty care professionals is $179 a year, good anywhere you provide your services in the U.S. 
• Two-year mobile spa insurance policy, the rate is $299, a $59 savings over buying two, one-year policies. 
• Student rates are $49 for a full year of coverage.

The State Board of Cosmetology in the state that you want to offer services is the governing body that will provide licensure, usually upon completion of education and examination.

For example, the State Board of Cosmetology in Florida requires a full 1,200 hours in an approved cosmetology school and the successful passing of the state-issued examination in order to obtain a license.

If you move to a different state, you may need to transfer your mobile spa professional license. The process varies by state, and some offer license reciprocity, allowing you to transfer your license without extensive retraining.
